Use “Alexa” when launching the skill, when an MP3 is playing, when the skill session has closed, or when you need to interrupt audio. When Alexandria is already waiting for a selection, you usually do not need to say “Alexa.”

Avoid “fast forward.” Alexa may intercept it before Alexandria hears it. Use “skip ahead” instead.

Resumes paused playback.
Stops audio and preserves Alexandria location.
Stops playback and returns to the active selection level.
Moves forward in the MP3. Use skip ahead rather than fast forward.
Moves backward in the MP3.
Restarts the current or most recent playable item.
Returns to Alexandria context; use Alexa-prefaced phrasing when the session has closed.
Fully backs out of Alexandria and clears active state.
